Do YOU Have A Roadmap For Your Life?

Monday Mindset 🏆🚀 – 02/27/2023

If you’ve followed my journey for a while, you know that in the 2015 timeframe, I was on the verge of being mentally, physically, financially, and emotionally bankrupt.

Back then, I lacked success habits.. I lacked a roadmap.. I lacked community..

I was working my ass off just drifting through life… and my circumstances were clear and indisputable evidence.

It was then that I looked at myself in the mirror and said…

“You can either stay where you are… Hoping, Wishing, Dreaming…
Or, you can take action, bet on yourself and put yourself in a position to win.”

I decided to go with the latter…

Here are some key principles I implemented that took me from being broke and on the verge of divorce…

… to the happiest my wife and I have ever been in our 16-year marriage.. ownership of multiple multi-million dollar companies.. lean and fit with six-pack abs at 41 years old.. and an incredible relationship with our 13-year-old son…

Have a Roadmap!
The first step is to set clear, specific, and measurable goals. Without goals, it’s difficult to know what you’re working towards, and you may find yourself drifting through life without purpose or direction. To get REALLY dialed in, I created a six-month roadmap reverse-engineered into 90-Day, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily SMART goals. To set effective goals, follow the SMART goal-setting framework:

Specific: Your goals should be well-defined and clear.
Measurable: You should be able to track your progress toward your goal.
Achievable: Your goals should be realistic and attainable.
Relevant: Your goals should align with your values and long-term vision.
Time-bound: Your goals should have a deadline for completion.
The roadmap in my workbook was essential to keeping me accountable and on track. I HIGHLY recommend you follow a similar roadmap. If you’re unsure how to do that, use mine. It’s got a very clear success track record. You can buy it on Amazon here.
Take Action
Once you’ve set your goals, you need to take action. Many people get stuck at this stage because they don’t know where to start or feel overwhelmed by the work required. To overcome this, break your goals into smaller, manageable tasks and focus on one step at a time (use this workbook if you don’t have one). Remember that every small action you take toward your goals is a step in the right direction.

Turn off the radio and get out of the Social Media “scroll holes”
Personal development is all about continuous learning and growth. Whether it’s reading books, attending workshops, or listening to podcasts, make it a habit to learn something new every day. This will not only help you gain new knowledge and skills but also keep you motivated and inspired.

Practice Gratitude
Gratitude is a powerful practice that can transform your life. When you focus on what you’re grateful for, you shift your perspective to a place of unlimited abundance. Take a few minutes daily to reflect on what you’re grateful for, and you’ll notice a positive shift in your mindset.

Your Community will make or break you
The people you surround yourself with have a significant impact on your mindset and your level of success. Your community matters.. and it’s a very powerful ingredient to your success or lack thereof. Surround yourself with positive, motivated, supportive people who uplift and encourage you. Limit your time with negative people who drain your energy and bring you down.

Executing on those 5 things has literally changed EVERYTHING for me and my family. And they will for you and yours as well.

Go forth and conquer!
